&lt;h2&gt;The Role&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Camel Brand is seeking to recruit a motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join its growing team. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the Company&#039;s financial operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the continued financial stability and compliance of the business.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collaborate with and report directly to the Board of Directors in setting and driving the Company&#039;s strategic vision and financial objectives.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Oversee the preparation of financial records, payroll (where applicable), and other statutory and management reporting requirements.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Develop, implement, and manage a robust budgeting and forecasting process across the Company.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Prepare and present timely management accounts, financial reports, and key performance indicators for management and Board review.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Prepare annual financial statements for audit purposes and liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Liaise with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders, ensuring the timely submission of statutory returns, reports, and payments.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Prepare VAT returns and other related VAT submissions.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor billing, collections, cash flow, and working capital to ensure the Company&#039;s financial stability and operational requirements are met.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;Skills and Requirements&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A minimum of three years&#039; experience in a senior position.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A recognised accounting qualification.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong leadership, organisational, and analytical skills.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Maltese.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Candidates with previous experience in the FMCG industry will be given preference.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Drive safely and in full compliance with traffic regulations&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained at all times&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for before departure&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Complete deliveries on time and in line with the daily schedule&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Coordinate with the sales team on cash sales and any undelivered orders&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collect returns in accordance with company and supplier return notes&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Handle cash-on-delivery (COD) collections accurately&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Carry out any other duties as required&lt;/li&gt;
