&lt;p&gt;The Senior Inventory Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting, financial control and reporting of the Group&#039;s spare parts operations while supporting the transformation towards a centralized procurement and inventory management model.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Working closely with Procurement, Materials, Engineering, Logistics and Finance teams, the Senior Inventory Accountant will support the implementation of the Group&#039;s &quot;one purchasing arm&quot; approach by providing financial expertise, strengthening inventory accounting processes, ensuring compliance with Group policies and contributing to effective inventory management, cost control and working capital optimisation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Responsibilities&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Oversee the financial accounting of the Group&#039;s spare parts procurement and inventory activities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to support the centralized purchasing model.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Establish and maintain financial controls over inventory, procurement and warehouse operations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, provisioning and reporting across multiple entities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure accurate accounting treatment of spare parts purchases, repairs, exchanges, sales, disposals and intercompany transfers.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flow related to spare parts operations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support the consolidation of purchasing activities into a single procurement structure serving the Group.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Drive process improvements and system integration between procurement, inventory management and finance systems.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor inventory performance, stock turnover, obsolescence risks and working capital requirements.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting activities relating to inventory and procurement functions.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis of spare parts activities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks and other stakeholders on matters relating to inventory and purchasing operations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide technical guidance and support to accounting and finance personnel supporting the spare parts function.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Participate in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the Group&#039;s growth objectives.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;h2&gt;Education&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related discipline.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;ACCA, ACA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;Experience&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Minimum of 5 years&#039; experience in accounting, with significant exposure to inventory accounting, procurement accounting or supply chain finance.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience in a multi-entity or Group environment is considered an asset.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong knowledge of inventory valuation, reconciliations, provisioning and financial reporting.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management processes.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with reporting and business intelligence tools is considered an advantage.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple functions.&lt;/li&gt;
