&lt;p&gt;The selected candidate will form part of the Accounts team and will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Key responsibilities include:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Preparing, posting and issuing customer invoices, ensuring billing information is accurate and complete.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Processing supplier invoices and ensuring they are correctly recorded in the accounting system.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Performing bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Processing bank payments and assisting with other routine accounting transactions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Monitoring customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances and assisting with debt collection via email/phone.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Communicating with customers and suppliers to resolve invoice queries and billing discrepancies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Supporting the annual audit process by preparing schedules and providing the required documentation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Assisting with general accounting and administrative duties as required to support the finance team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;ins&gt;Requirements&lt;/ins&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Previous experience in an accounts or finance role will be considered an asset, although full training will be given&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Preferably with studies in Accounting, Finance or a related field.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This role would suit a person with the ability to work independently and without much supervision, who is able to prioritize work effectively to meet strict deadlines.&lt;/p&gt;
