&lt;p&gt;Job description: Providing extra care for the guest and focus on their personal need through the stay, accompany them to experience the best possible stay and help them organizing their holiday. Taking care of the reception and its tasks, check in, check out, money handling and cashiering functions .&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h3&gt;Guest Rooms&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Clean assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Make beds and replace bed linen as required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Dust and polish all furniture and surfaces.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Empty rubbish bins and replace bin liners.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Replenish guest amenities, tea and coffee supplies, and toiletries.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Replace towels and bathroom linen.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Check room equipment and ensure everything is functioning properly.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Report maintenance issues immediately.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and floors.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Refill soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and other guest supplies.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure bathrooms are hygienic and odor-free.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Respond courteously to guest requests or direct them to the appropriate department.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Report lost and found items according to hotel procedures.&lt;/li&gt;

Room Attendant

&lt;p&gt;At Mercure St. Julian&#039;s Malta, we are seeking a night maintenance helper.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities: &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Carry out regular night inspections of the hotel, including guest areas, public areas, back-of-house areas, plant rooms, and other operational areas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies during the night shift.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor and check essential hotel systems and equipment, including HVAC, pumps, boilers, water systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Perform routine checks of lighting, air-conditioning, plumbing, lifts, fire safety systems, and other essential facilities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Carry out urgent repairs and basic troubleshooting to minimise disruption to hotel operations and guests.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor pool equipment and systems during the night, including pumps, filters, water levels, and other relevant equipment, where applicable. And to be ready for next day&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conduct regular checks for water leaks, unusual noises, equipment faults, electrical issues, and other potential maintenance problems.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist with overnight maintenance, or operational tasks when required to support the smooth running of the hotel. Including room or common area maintenance such as painting, electric, plumbing is done with no disturbance to guests in hotel&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure all maintenance work areas are left clean, safe, and properly secured after completing any work.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor and respond to any alarms or technical faults and escalate serious or complex issues to the appropriate person when required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor and report any suspicious activity, unauthorised persons, unusual behaviour, or security concerns immediately to the Night Manager or Front Desk.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist the Night Front Desk with responding to guest complaints, disturbances, noise complaints, or other incidents when required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Check that hotel doors, access points, service areas, and restricted areas are properly secured.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in responding to emergencies, including fire alarms, water leaks, power failures, equipment failures, and other incidents.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the hotel during the night.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work closely with the Night Front Desk to ensure smooth communication and the safe operation of the hotel throughout the night.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Salary: between 19 000 and 21 000 gross annually&lt;/p&gt;
