&lt;p&gt;The Company is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated &lt;strong&gt;Senior Compliance Officer&lt;/strong&gt; to join its team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s regulatory compliance framework and supporting the Board of Directors and Senior Management in ensuring that the Company continues to meet its obligations under applicable financial services legislation, MFSA Rules and regulatory expectations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The role requires an individual with sound regulatory knowledge, strong professional judgement and the ability to provide practical and constructive guidance across the organisation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Senior Compliance Officer will be responsible for:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Acting as the Company’s appointed Compliance Officer and principal point of contact with the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) in relation to compliance and regulatory matters.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintaining oversight of the Company’s compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including MiFID II, applicable EU legislation, MFSA Rules and Financial Services legislation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Developing, implementing and maintaining an effective Compliance Monitoring Programme, applying a risk-based approach to the Company’s activities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conducting compliance monitoring reviews and assessing the effectiveness of policies, procedures and internal controls.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Identifying regulatory and compliance risks and reporting material findings, weaknesses and recommendations to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitoring regulatory developments and assessing their potential impact on the Company.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Advising the Board, Senior Management and first-line functions on regulatory requirements and the practical implementation of compliance obligations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Reviewing and contributing to the development of internal policies, procedures and controls to ensure continued alignment with regulatory requirements.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Providing constructive and independent challenge where activities, practices or proposed decisions may give rise to compliance concerns.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Coordinating and supporting regulatory inspections, information requests, submissions and other interactions with the MFSA.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Preparing periodic and ad hoc compliance reports for the Board of Directors, Senior Management and regulatory authorities, as required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Supporting the delivery of compliance-related training and promoting a strong culture of regulatory compliance throughout the organisation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Working closely with other control functions and relevant departments while maintaining the independence of the Compliance function.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Performing such other compliance-related duties as may reasonably arise from the Company’s regulatory obligations and business activities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Candidate Profile&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As a minimum, the successful candidate should have:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Three or more years of relevant experience in a compliance role within an investment firm or comparable regulated financial services environment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A strong understanding of MiFID II and the regulatory framework applicable to investment services firms.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A good understanding of MFSA Rules and regulatory expectations, together with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical guidance.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Practical experience in the design, implementation and/or operation of a Compliance Monitoring Programme.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience carrying out compliance reviews, identifying control weaknesses and recommending proportionate remedial action.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The ability to interpret regulatory developments and assess their impact on a regulated business.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong analytical, organisational and report-writing skills.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management, Board members and operational staff.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The ability to operate independently, exercise sound professional judgement and provide constructive challenge.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A high level of integrity, professionalism and discretion.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A relevant academic or professional qualification in areas such as law, finance, banking, compliance, risk management or business would be considered an advantage, but applications will also be considered from candidates who can demonstrate appropriate regulatory knowledge and relevant practical experience.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Previous experience as an appointed Compliance Officer, or experience working directly with the MFSA in a compliance capacity, would also be considered an advantage.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Role&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is an opportunity to take on a key regulatory function within an established Maltese investment services firm and to work closely with the Board of Directors, Senior Management and operational teams.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will be expected to combine regulatory expertise with a pragmatic, risk-based approach and to contribute actively to the continued development of the Company’s compliance framework and culture.&lt;/p&gt;
