&lt;p&gt;PG Group is looking for an Accounts Clerk responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial systems. The role involves managing daily transactions, assisting with monthly closings and providing general administrative assistance to the Finance Department.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation to ensure accessibility and compliance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Monitor and follow up on overdue debtor accounts, sending reminders and negotiating payment plans.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Reconcile bank statements&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and support the Finance Manager in preparing for audits.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Experience:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Skills:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Strong attention to detail.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Familiarity with Shireburn SFM accounting system&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in negotiating with debtors.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Working Conditions:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Office environment on a Full-Time basis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Occasional overtime during peak financial periods or audits&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
