&lt;p&gt;We are currently looking for a &lt;strong&gt;motivated, professional and organised Receptionist&lt;/strong&gt; to join a well-established organisation in Malta.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will act as the &lt;strong&gt;first point of contact for visitors and clients&lt;/strong&gt;, while providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;h3&gt;Main Responsibilities&lt;/h3&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Welcome and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Take and communicate messages accurately.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Manage the reception area and ensure smooth daily front-office operations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain awareness of staff movements in and out of the office.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor and maintain inventory and supplies related to the reception area.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide general administrative and clerical support when required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients and external visitors.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Good command of &lt;strong&gt;written and spoken English&lt;/strong&gt;; knowledge of Maltese will be considered an advantage.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proficiency in &lt;strong&gt;Microsoft Office applications&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong organisational and communication skills.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Excellent attention to detail.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Provide attentive, professional newborn care within a private household, supporting infant feeding, sleep routines, development, and parental education while maintaining a safe, organized nursery environment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Primary newborn care:&lt;/strong&gt; Attend to feeding (breastmilk bottle feeding, formula as required), diapering, soothing, burping, and safe sleep practices for newborns.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Sleep and routine management:&lt;/strong&gt; Establish and maintain age-appropriate sleep schedules and sleep training techniques in line with parental preferences and pediatric guidance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Health monitoring:&lt;/strong&gt; Observe and report any changes in infant health, behavior, feeding or elimination patterns; administer basic care per parental instructions and pediatrician guidance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Developmental support:&lt;/strong&gt; Provide age-appropriate sensory stimulation, tummy time, and early developmental activities; track milestones and communicate progress.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Nursery management:&lt;/strong&gt; Maintain a clean, hygienic nursery; manage laundry and sterilization of bottles, feeding equipment, and baby items; organize supplies and keep inventory.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Household coordination:&lt;/strong&gt; Coordinate with parents regarding schedules, appointments (e.g., pediatric visits), and childcare needs; document feedings, sleep, and diapering in a daily log.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Parental support and education:&lt;/strong&gt; Offer guidance on newborn care best practices, feeding techniques, and routine establishment, respecting parental choices and cultural preferences.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Safety and emergency response:&lt;/strong&gt; Maintain up-to-date infant first aid/CPR skills; act promptly in emergencies and follow family protocols.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Skills and Qualifications&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Experience:&lt;/strong&gt; Proven professional experience as a newborn nanny, maternity nurse, or equivalent in private-home newborn care; executive-level professionalism and discretion.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Language:&lt;/strong&gt; Full professional proficiency in English; clear communication with parents and healthcare providers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Certifications:&lt;/strong&gt; Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification required; neonatal/maternity nursing certification or equivalent preferred.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Knowledge:&lt;/strong&gt; Strong understanding of newborn feeding, sleep physiology, soothing techniques, and early developmental milestones.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Attributes:&lt;/strong&gt; Patient, reliable, calm under pressure, highly observant, and respectful of family privacy and routines.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Practical skills:&lt;/strong&gt; Competent in safe bottle preparation, sterilization, basic infant bathing, and simple household/linen care related to the infant.&lt;/p&gt;
