&lt;p&gt;XVI Suites (Falbra Ltd) is currently seeking a passionate and skilled&lt;strong&gt; Breakfast &amp;amp; Pastry Chef&lt;/strong&gt; to join our hotel kitchen team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast items and fresh pastries while maintaining excellent food hygiene and presentation standards.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Prepare and present daily breakfast items&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Bake and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and pastry section&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist with menu planning and development of new breakfast and pastry items&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure efficient kitchen operations during breakfast service&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth daily operations&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Minimise food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Requirements:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proven experience as a breakfast chef, pastry chef, ideally in a hotel, resort, or busy restaurant&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Good knowledge of hot and cold breakfast and pastry preparation&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, and kitchen safety&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to lead a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong organizational and time-management skills&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for food&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Good teamwork and communication&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Fluency in English&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays&lt;/li&gt;
