We are seeking a professional and motivated A La Carte Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our prestigious 4-star hotel. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, the right attitude, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will play a key role in providing a high-standard dining experience to our guests in our a la carte restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
\r\n
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
\r\n
Inform guests about the day’s specials and offer menu recommendations upon request.
\r\n
Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
\r\n
Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, order slips, or memorization.
\r\n
Communicate order details efficiently to the Kitchen Staff.
\r\n
Serve food and drink orders with attention to presentation and quality.
\r\n
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, reporting any issues.
\r\n
Maintain tidy and properly arranged table settings and dining areas.
\r\n
Deliver checks and collect payments promptly.
\r\n
Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
\r\n
Follow all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
\r\n
Provide excellent, professional customer service at all times.
\r\n

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an a la carte or fine-dining environment.
\r\n
Skills card (as required by Maltese regulations).
\r\n
Knowledge of a la carte setup and service standards.
\r\n
Excellent English communication skills; other languages a plus.
\r\n
Ability to work effectively in a team and support colleagues.
