Are you a passionate and motivated Accountant looking for a fantastic opportunity? Join our client, a boutique law firm, and take charge of building an in-house accounting department as an Accounts Manager. What’s expected of you?

  • Balancing bank statements and reconciling accounts.
  • Compiling financial data for management, auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
  • Generating meticulous monthly-end reports.
  • Delivering impeccable support to both internal and external clients.
  • Playing a pivotal role in developing comprehensive financial statements.
  • Ensuring a seamless transfer of trial balance data into financial statements
  • Meticulously handling trust and company accounts in full compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Conducting rigorous annual reviews for entities with prepared accounts.
  • Collaborating closely with auditors to address their inquiries.
  • Managing VAT and tax computation duties to guarantee compliance with tax regulations and optimize the firm's financial strategies.
  • Providing essential administrative support for day-to-day accounts.

What are you expected to bring?

  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in Malta in a similar role
  • Fully qualified and warranted as an Accountant
  • Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks while adhering to challenging deadlines
