Role Overview

Our Client is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage key daily operations of the Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a detail-oriented approach, contributing to the efficiency and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Verify purchase invoices: Accurately allocate purchase invoices against shipments.
\n\t
Supplier reconciliations and payments: Reconcile supplier statements and prepare timely payments.
\n\t
Client receipts and deposits: Post client receipts accurately and prepare bank deposits.
\n\t
Monitor overdue accounts: Track receipts and follow up on overdue amounts.
\n\t
Investigate discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
\n\t
Ancillary duties: Perform additional tasks as required to support departmental operations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Education: 'O' Level qualification in accounting or equivalent.
\n\t
Experience: Previous experience within an accounts department is an asset but not essential.
