About This Job

The Employee who will be engaged will be doing Assistant Spa Management and administrative duties as well as to act and direct role in the sale of the services and products which the employer may, from time to time, offer to the general public, these duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day operations of the spa treatments, indoor pool and spa facilities, including short and long range strategic planning so that the business operates cost effectively and efficiently.
  • In liaison with the Spa Manager – create, maintain and oversee a marketable and profitable Spa business while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
  • Assist in developing all operation and merchandising procedures/logistics.
  • Ensure the spa, and pool facilities are in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness)
  • Assist in leading a team of Spa Receptionists, Spa Therapists, F&B Spa Attendants, Spa Cleaners and other spa related staff, ensure utmost staff guidance and staff development, to reach the targets and fulfill the corporate vision of the company.
  • Inform staff of job responsibilities, and efficiently communicate performance expectations, client service implement company standards, and corporate policies and guidelines
  • Plan / direct spa services and programs.
  • Assist the Spa Manager to interview, recruit, engage and onboard Spa staff according to the requirements of the business.
  • Train staff in spa treatments and the use or sale of products, programs, or activities. Oversea or hold training accordingly periodically and to all newly engaged staff, also extending this training to other therapists from other spas.
  • Assess employee performance and suggest ways to improve work.
  • Check spa equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Coordinate facility schedules to maximize usage and efficiency
  • Develop staff service or retail goals and guide staff in goal achievement.
  • Keep up to date with the Inventory of products and order new supplies, whilst keeping and being aware of budget and usage.
  • Monitor operations to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, or hygiene standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Schedule staff and supervise scheduling, updating all the rosters on the company’s payroll system.
  • Verify staff credentials, such as educational and certification requirements.
  • Maintain client databases.
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge of industry.
  • Being responsible for the avoidance of any damages, wastage and directly overlook and reviewing procedures to reduce waste and damages, such as electricity/ water/ consumable
  • Support the Spa Manager to Inform staff of job responsibilities, performance expectations, client service implement company standards, and corporate policies and guidelines.
  • Support the Spa Manager to Perform accounting duties, such as recording daily cash flow, or generating financial statements, Stock reports, Stock orders and sales reports on a weekly basis.
