    	        	Our client, that operates within the public sector, is currently looking to recruit an Associate within their enforcement unit.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;Analyze compliance reports and submissions related to AML/CFT obligations.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Prepare cases for presentation before the Compliance Monitoring Committee.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Draft enforcement measure letters and ensure follow-up actions are fully implemented.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Supervise the execution of directives issued to regulated entities.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop and issue targeted guidance documents related to enforcement processes.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Conduct AML training sessions and raise public awareness.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Provide internal training and enforcement updates.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assist in the preparation of court files and attend court sittings when required.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Liaise with local and international supervisory authorities regarding enforcement actions.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Represent the organization in international forums as needed.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Report to senior management and assist with various projects and assignments.
&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Requirements:&lt;/strong&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;A University degree (MQF Level 6) in Law, Banking &amp;amp; Finance, Financial Services, Insurance, Accounting, Economics, Criminology, or a related field with three years of relevant experience &lt;strong&gt;OR&lt;/strong&gt;
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;An MQF Level 5 qualification in the above fields with four years of relevant experience.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Strong understanding of AML/CFT legislation, including relevant EU Directives and international regulations.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Familiarity with financial services, gaming, and other regulated sectors.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Experience in applying AML and counter-financing of terrorism laws.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Maltese and English.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office automation tools.
	&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and work within a structured regulatory framework.
