Bar Attendant – Nomad Lounge, Victoria Gozo

Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Bar Attendant to join our small team at Nomad Lounge, a cozy cafeteria in the heart of Victoria, Gozo. The ideal candidate will take pride in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation
  Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and other beverages.
  Operate and maintain coffee machines and other bar equipment.
• Food & Snack Service
  Prepare and serve light snacks and platters.
  Ensure food is presented neatly and stocked throughout the day.
• Customer Service
  Greet and welcome customers warmly.
  Take and process orders accurately.
  Provide a friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Cleanliness & Hygiene
  Keep the bar, seating area, and workstations clean and organized.
  Follow health and safety standards at all times.
  Wash and store utensils, glasses, and plates appropriately.
• Stock & Inventory
  Refill supplies of coffee beans, milk, snacks, and other consumables.
  Keep shelves and displays tidy and well-stocked.
  Notify management when stock levels are low.
• Teamwork & General Duties
  Assist colleagues during busy periods.
  Support day-to-day running of the lounge.
  Take on other relevant duties as required to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Qualities

• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation (barista skills a plus).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a small team.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliability and flexibility (including weekends and evenings if needed).
