Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide recommendations where appropriate.
- Process customer payments using the POS system and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Serve bar snacks and light food items while maintaining food hygiene standards.
- Keep the bar clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout each shift.
- Ensure the responsible service of alcohol in line with legal requirements and company policies.
- Carry out opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation where required.
- Assist with stock replenishment, stock takes, and inventory control.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and escalate issues where necessary.
- Help create a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Good cash handling and basic POS/computer skills.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and food hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
