About This Job
Join our dynamic bar team in our new Entertainment Centre as a Bartender. You'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and assisting in the day-to-day bar operations.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests with beverage and food orders, offering recommendations when necessary.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, following recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for order entry, payment processing, and issuing receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, refrigerators, and equipment.
- Assist in monitoring beverage and supply stock levels, notifying the Duty Manager of shortages or replenishment needs.
- Support stock rotation and check expiration dates to minimize waste and maintain product quality.
- Follow opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and cleaning tasks.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, escalating issues as needed.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to fulfill food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of beverage preparation techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
- Additional training or certification in bartending or hospitality is a plus.
