About This Job
Due to the rapid growth in our represented diverse portfolio of brands within our Pharmaceutical Healthcare / Industry Division, a vacancy has arisen for a Biomedical Technician.
The ideal candidate is required to perform a selection of duties which include carrying out repairs and maintenance of medical / laboratory / industry equipment, generation of repair reports, updating technical information on specific equipment as well as managing and monitoring spare parts relating to supplied equipment.
This vacancy calls for an applicant who must possess:
- A diploma in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of two years of Biomedical service within a related working environment
- Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese (verbal / written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and general IT
- Willingness to travel as required for overseas projects and training sessions
- Be prepared to work under pressure and on own initiative
- High attention to detail and ability to proactively identify equipment faults
