Maintenance of the current WordPress website and further development of 10–20 pages. The main objective of the website will be to disseminate information on specific subjects.

Basic support (not development) for the current integrated VLE platform (Moodle).

Tasks
\r\n
The service provider is requested to deliver the following services as required:
\r\n
1. Website Management Services
\r\n
Services include, but are not limited to:
\r\n
\r\n
Technical support: Provide technical support and timely troubleshooting of issues for the website, including the integrated VLE (the VLE is an extension forming part of the website; hence the selected service provider will not be requested to upgrade or modify the VLE).
\r\n
Routine maintenance: Perform routine checks to ensure all features and functionalities of the website are fully operational.
\r\n
Content updates: Uploading, editing, and formatting of articles, images, and multimedia content during the first phase of the contracted services. Once the updated and finalised website is up and running, the service provider will be requested to deliver a 3–4 hour course to selected personnel (as directed by the MFHEA) on content editing. After that, the second phase of the contract will commence (i.e., website maintenance). It is the MFHEA’s intention to be able to update the content without supervision; however, the service provider will be required to assist upon the MFHEA’s request.

Backend adjustments: Modifying structure, plugins, or functionalities.
\r\n
Performance monitoring: Monitoring and improving site speed, uptime, and performance through analytics.
\r\n
Creation of website content management accounts.
\r\n
GDPR compliance.
\r\n
Accessibility compliance.
\r\n
CMS support.
\r\n
SSL certificate management.
\r\n
\r\n
2. Hosting and Infrastructure
\r\n
Services include, but are not limited to:
\r\n
\r\n
Web server hosting: Provide the platform for the website and VLE (transfer of hosting required by October 2025).
\r\n
\r\n
Duration of the Contract
\r\n
The contract shall have a duration of one year and will expire at the end of August 2026.
\r\n
Eligibility Criteria
\r\n
\r\n
Expert knowledge in WordPress.
\r\n
Experience with VLE integration.
\r\n
Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to technical issues promptly
\r\n
\r\n
