Role Overview \nOur Client is seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth delivery of essential operational services, including food, housekeeping, maintenance, and front office administration. Support Services: Oversee food operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and front office administration to ensure compliance with legal standards and sector regulations.

Facility Administration: Handle administrative functions including procurement, audits, payroll processing, and reporting, while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Asset Management: Maintain and manage facility assets effectively, assess investment opportunities, and oversee the implementation of approved capital expenditures.
\n\t
Budget Administration: Apply cost control methods, streamline resource allocation, and reduce inefficiencies in line with the organisation’s financial objectives.

Professional Relationship with Stakeholders: Build and maintain positive working relationships with regulatory authorities, service users, relatives, and staff to support a collaborative and respectful working environment.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: A qualification at MQF Level 5 or higher in the health sector is preferred.
\n\t
Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, particularly within the care or hospitality sector, will be considered an asset.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to remain accessible and transparent across all levels of the organisation.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to manage challenging situations with composure, delegate responsibilities effectively, and show empathy to residents and colleagues.
