As the Chief Officer - Outdoor Space Management, you will oversee the comprehensive management of open spaces, ensuring high standards in maintenance and servicing. This role involves strategic planning, efficient resource management, and the implementation of innovative practices to optimise park operations and security.
Setting Quality Standards and KPIs: Develop and implement quality standards, service levels, and key performance indicators for the maintenance and servicing of open spaces.
Budget Management: Oversee budget allocations, including people, processes, and resources, ensuring efficient use and optimisation to achieve desired outcomes.
Operational Oversight: Take charge of daily operations within the management function, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Innovation in Open Spaces Management: Utilise smart technologies and innovative approaches to enhance security and servicing standards in park management.
Strategic Restructuring: Drive the strategic restructuring and reorganisation of the management function to enhance efficiency and quality.
Reporting and Metrics: Provide ongoing reports and metrics related to management, including performance indicators and other relevant data.
Experience: A minimum of three years in a similar role is required. A Bachelor's degree (MQF Level 6) or higher in Business Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with at least five years of relevant experience but lacking formal qualifications will also be considered.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is essential. Proficiency in Maltese would be advantageous.
Communication Skills: Strong abilities in communicating clearly and effectively with various stakeholders.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining high professional standards.
Technical Skills: Experience with industry-specific technologies and best practices in space management and servicing.
Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
Self-Motivated: Demonstrates strong personal drive and a high work ethic, leading to exceptional performance and results.
Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
Compensation: An attractive remuneration package, including allowances and performance bonus and yearly salary increments. Performance and project allowances are awarded annually based on KPI achievements.
Working Hours: The role is a full-time, definite-term contract for three years, with a one-year probation period.
