Role Overview \nHeroix is collaborating with our Client to expand their Accountancy team by recruiting a motivated and diligent Client Accountant. This role involves working alongside experienced professionals to prepare and maintain various financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Data Preparation: Accurately compile, maintain, update, and finalise accounting records and data for various projects.
\n\t
Tax Return Processing: Prepare and submit personal and VAT tax returns in line with regulatory requirements.
\n\t
Management Accounts: Assist in preparing management accounts and trial balances to support financial decision-making.
\n\t
Bookkeeping: Maintain cash books and accounting journals with precision and attention to detail.
\n\t
Regulatory Liaison: Communicate and coordinate with relevant regulatory and supervisory authorities to ensure compliance.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: ACCA or University of Malta qualified.
\n\t
Experience: Previous experience within an accounting team is advantageous but not essential.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Maltese, both spoken and written.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and external parties.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities.

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills viewed favourably.
