The Commercial Manager will oversee the financial and commercial aspects of construction projects, with a particular focus on finishes. This role involves managing budgets, contracts and relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

\r\n1. Financial Management:
\r\n- Develop, manage and oversee project budgets and financial forecasts.
\r\n- Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
\r\n- Prepare detailed financial reports and present them to stakeholders.
\r\n2. Contract Management:
\r\n- Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
\r\n- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
\r\n- Resolve any contractual disputes promptly and efficiently.
\r\n3. Project Management:
\r\n- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects meet financial and quality goals.
\r\n- Oversee project timelines and schedules, adjusting as needed to accommodate changes.
\r\n- Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
\r\n4. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
\r\n- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
\r\n- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
\r\n- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
\r\n5. Quality Assurance:
\r\n- Ensure that all finishes and construction work meet industry standards and client specifications.
\r\n- Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality and progress.
\r\n- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance project delivery and outcomes.
\r\n6. Business Development:
\r\n- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the finishes sector.

\r\nWho are we looking for:
\r\n- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial management within the construction industry, with a focus on finishes.
\r\n- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and finishes.
\r\n- Proven track record of managing budgets, contracts, and projects successfully.
\r\n- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\r\n- Proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools.
\r\n- Ability to work collaboratively and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
\r\n- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Malta is a plus.
