CORPORATE SENIOR MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the ideal candidate should preferably have
- A Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering background
- Conversant with standard mechanical workshop techniques and tools
- Minimum 5+ years experience in maintenance or related industries, ideally in a senior capacity
- Be fluent in English
- Be able to work on his/her own initiative and is pro-active whereby his/her recommendations
- Be able to work in a team, mentor junior technicians, and promote permanent solutions for continuous improvement
MAIN TASKS
- Routine Preventive Maintenance, Fault Finding and Repair on plant equipment including reactors, centrifuges, dryers, mills, micronizers and sievers.
- Maintenance of transfer pumps, pipelines, valves, vacuum pumps, and solvent tanks.
- Servicing of HVAC and chiller systems, cooling towers, boilers, scrubbers, air compressors and fire systems.
- Support of cleanroom facilities, water systems, and filtration equipment to required standards.
- Planning and conducting maintenance and servicing of plant, machinery and equipment to the required standards, including coordination of shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Support in the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new plant, machinery and equipment.
- Experience and knowledge of piping systems, rotating equipment, and pressure vessels is considered an asset.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical sector, FDF and/or API is considered a plus.
