The Company:
Vassallo Group, a leader in property development, construction, care, and education in Malta, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Cost Planning & Development Projects Manager. This role is key to ensuring the effective financial planning, control, and delivery of all our group development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cost planning and estimation of development projects from concept through completion.
- Prepare and manage detailed bills of quantities and tender documentation.
- Oversee tendering processes, including contractor evaluation and recommendation.
- Support contract negotiations and post-contract cost control.
- Monitor project budgets, manage cost variations, and report on project financials.
- Liaise with internal departments, consultants, and contractors to ensure cost-effective delivery of projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost planning, tender preparation, and post-contract administration.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and cost management systems.Experience working in the construction and property development sectors will be considered an asset.
