Lead all court-related procedures within the enforcement function.\n\t
Draft, file, and manage judicial acts and legal documentation.\n\t
Represent the firm in court sittings and liaise with external counsel as needed.\n\t
Oversee the publication and updating of appeal notices and court decisions.\n\t
Manage and guide the Court Litigation team to achieve departmental goals.\n\t
Coordinate resources, conduct performance reviews, and hold one-on-one meetings.\n\t
Evaluate ongoing operations and report to senior management.\n\t
Participate in internal management meetings and recruitment interviews.\n\t
Work closely with other units and external agents to gather case-related documentation.\n\t
Support officers attending court proceedings.\n\t
Monitor external legal fees and recommend training initiatives for the team.\n\t
Participate in the Compliance Monitoring Committee (CMC) when required.\n\t
Provide legal counsel to senior management and the Board of Governors.\n\t
Represent the firm in international working groups and external legal forums.\n
\n \nRequirements\n\n
\n\t
Education: LL.D. or M.Adv. degree (or equivalent MQF Level 7 or higher legal qualification)\n\t
Warrant: Must be registered or warranted to practice law in Malta.\n\t
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a legal role, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.\n\t
Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML/CFT legislation, EU directives, and relevant domestic laws, especially in the financial and gaming sectors.\n\t
Skills: Excellent legal drafting, communication, and analytical skills.\n\t
Languages: Fluent in both Maltese and English.\n\t
Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office software.\n
