Role Overview \nThe Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of credit control activities, upholding Company policies, and maintaining accurate debtor records. The role involves managing payments, resolving disputes, and ensuring income is collected and properly recorded. This is a key position that directly contributes to the Company’s financial efficiency and stability.

Key Responsibilities

Account Disputes Management: Handle disputed accounts and negotiate solutions to ensure timely payments in line with agreed terms.
\n\t
Payment Monitoring: Oversee payment schedules and follow up consistently to guarantee punctual settlement of accounts.
\n\t
Income Recording: Ensure all due payments are received and accurately reflected within the debtor ledger.
\n\t
Reconciliations: Prepare and manage account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance.
\n\t
Collaboration and Problem Resolution: Work closely with the Sales Team to resolve delivery and payment issues while addressing queries in line with Company guidelines.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to credit control.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Minimum O Level or equivalent in Mathematics, Maltese, and English.
\n\t
Experience: Previous experience in credit control will be considered an asset.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong telephone and written communication abilities with a clear and professional approach.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build cooperative working relationships across teams and with external partners.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and basic financial software.
