About This Job

The Finance Specialist will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of CuraTeq Biologics Malta Ltd, a subsidiary company of the Aurobindo Group, ensuring accurate reporting, and assisting in day-to-day operations of a multinational organisation. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance and eager to grow within a forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update & monitor book-keeping transactions in a medium to high volume environment.
  • Maintaining the debtor’s ledger, including timely collection of receivables, monitoring bank receipts and posting on a timely basis.
  • Maintaining the creditor’s ledger, including review of reconciliations, address any discrepancies promptly and finalizing monthly payment runs.
  • Process timely payments on the banking platform.
  • Updating fixed assets register.
  • Maintaining an orderly financial filing system.
  • Assisting in the preparation of accruals and prepayments.
  • Prepare trial balance incl. reconciliation of accrual/control accounts.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, deliver financial reports, and provide periodic analysis for different stakeholders within stipulated deadlines.
  • Support the execution and evaluation of new IT initiatives.
  • Assisting with Preparation of VAT Recapitulative Statements, VAT Returns and NSO surveys
  • Assist with the smooth execution of interim and annual audits.
  • Carrying out the ad-hoc office duties as may be requested by the management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field/ACCA
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial models, data analysis)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to support business decision-making
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently
