The Finance Specialist will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of CuraTeq Biologics Malta Ltd, a subsidiary company of the Aurobindo Group, ensuring accurate reporting, and assisting in day-to-day operations of a multinational organisation. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance and eager to grow within a forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update & monitor book-keeping transactions in a medium to high volume environment.
- Maintaining the debtor’s ledger, including timely collection of receivables, monitoring bank receipts and posting on a timely basis.
- Maintaining the creditor’s ledger, including review of reconciliations, address any discrepancies promptly and finalizing monthly payment runs.
- Process timely payments on the banking platform.
- Updating fixed assets register.
- Maintaining an orderly financial filing system.
- Assisting in the preparation of accruals and prepayments.
- Prepare trial balance incl. reconciliation of accrual/control accounts.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, deliver financial reports, and provide periodic analysis for different stakeholders within stipulated deadlines.
- Support the execution and evaluation of new IT initiatives.
- Assisting with Preparation of VAT Recapitulative Statements, VAT Returns and NSO surveys
- Assist with the smooth execution of interim and annual audits.
- Carrying out the ad-hoc office duties as may be requested by the management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field/ACCA
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial models, data analysis)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strategic thinking with the ability to support business decision-making
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently
