Role Overview \nOur Client is looking to hire a Data Analyst - Sales & Marketing to join their team. The position will focus on supporting the Sales and Marketing department by preparing, updating, and analysing key reports and data, contributing valuable insights for decision-making. The role is pivotal in ensuring that accurate and timely reports are delivered, alongside maintaining and interpreting market data to support various department activities.

Key Responsibilities

Report Preparation: Ensure regular reports are prepared, updated, and issued accurately and on time.
\n\t
Market Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and transform market data into actionable insights. This includes scanning data from various customers where available.
\n\t
Database Maintenance: Create and maintain databases to capture and interpret market data for department use.
\n\t
Ad Hoc Reporting: Support the Sales and Marketing Department in the preparation of ad hoc reports as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Education: A BSc in Statistics or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
\n\t
Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis or similar role, ideally within a sales or marketing context.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is essential; proficiency in Maltese is a plus.
\n\t
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to process and interpret complex data.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data manipulation and report generation.
\n\t
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in data handling and reporting.
\n\t
Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly.
