Role Overview \nOur Client is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Manager to lead the Data Quality Assurance function within the Central Data Governance section. This role is instrumental in maintaining a high standard of data integrity across the organisation, ensuring processes and reporting mechanisms are in place to monitor and enhance data quality. Reporting to the Central Data Governance Lead, the selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the data strategy and governance framework, engaging with key stakeholders, and contributing to risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
\n\n
\n\t
Coordination and Oversight: Lead and manage the Data Quality Assurance unit, ensuring efficient implementation of frameworks that promote data accuracy, consistency and reliability across business units.
\n\t
Data Quality Monitoring: Oversee continuous monitoring and analysis of data quality metrics, manage remediation efforts, maintain documentation, and compile regular reports for senior governance forums.
\n\t
Strategic Input and Risk Management: Contribute to the evolution of the data strategy and governance artefacts by identifying risks, knowledge gaps, and training needs within the organisation related to data quality.
\n\t
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to assess and manage data governance impacts, especially in areas affecting regulatory compliance and data architecture.
\n\t
Issue Tracking and Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive log of data quality issues and ensure timely updates and resolutions in coordination with domain owners and relevant teams.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: A Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
\n\t
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in Information Management, including at least 4 years in a Data Management or Governance role with proven project involvement on the business or IT side.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex data issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and data owners.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Proven stakeholder management experience and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and seniority levels.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data governance frameworks, data quality principles, data modelling, documentation for audit purposes, and working knowledge of data architecture.
\n\t
Organisation: Strong planning, time management and documentation skills to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
\n\t
Self-Motivated: Demonstrates initiative, responsibility, and a proactive approach to improving data quality frameworks and solutions.
\n\t
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge and interpret data metrics, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.
