Role Overview \nThe Delivery & Logistics Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations within the Warehouse Department, reporting directly to the CEO. The position is responsible for overseeing client collections, deliveries, and inventory management while upholding strict standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands strong organisational ability, clear communication, and decisive problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations Management: Coordinate, schedule, and oversee timely pickups and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times.
\n\t
Team Leadership: Supervise delivery personnel and company vehicles, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative work environment.
\n\t
Client Service: Manage client collections and distributions, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction while ensuring due payments are collected from drivers.
\n\t
Collaboration: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Fleet Manager, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
\n\t
Reporting and Compliance: Generate and finalise distribution-related reports, while ensuring strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations on-site and on the road.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Minimum of ‘O’ Level standard of education.
\n\t
Experience: Previous experience as a Deliveries Coordinator / Manager or extensive background as a Driver.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of Maltese and English is essential.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to clearly convey instructions and updates.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic, with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Forklift operation certification required; strong computer literacy with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
\n\t
Organisation: Highly organised, proactive, and able to plan ahead to ensure smooth operations.
\n\t
Self-Motivated: Hands-on, driven, and capable of working independently with a “let’s do it” approach.
\n\t
Problem-Solving: Calm under pressure, able to make decisive last-minute decisions and resolve issues efficiently.
