Position Summary (A short paragraph about the position)
The Delivery Person & Warehouse Helper will be responsible for driving company trucks to deliver products safely and efficiently to clients and customers, while also assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and carrying out general warehouse duties. The role requires excellent time management, attention to detail, communication and organisational skills, together with a strong commitment to health and safety. The successful applicant will be required to ensure that deliveries are completed accurately, safely and within the scheduled timeframes, while supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Drive company trucks safely and responsibly to deliver products to clients and customers in accordance with scheduled delivery routes and requirements.
2. Load and unload company products safely and efficiently, ensuring that products are properly secured during transportation.
3. Assist with planning and following delivery routes and use navigation applications to identify delivery locations.
4. Compiling accurate delivery records and reports.
5. Report all delivery-related problems, delays, incidents or customer concerns to the relevant supervisor/Manager.
6. Effectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaints.
7. Liaise with the main office or warehouse logistics team regarding any changes to daily delivery routes or schedules.
8. Assisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
9. Obtaining clients’ and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.
10. Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
11. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection according to schedule, including picking, loading, packing, wrapping, labelling and securing products.
12. Keep the warehouse, loading areas and work environment clean, safe and organised, while optimising space utilisation.

Level of Education Standard & Experience Required
· MQF LEVEL 1 SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE
· LICENCES/CERTIFICATES REQUIRED
o Valid forklift licence would be an Asset
o Valid Category C Truck Driving Licence is Required
o Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is Required
· TYPE OF WORKING EXPERIENCE – Working within a warehouse environment
· LANGUAGES- WRITTEN/SPOKEN - strong communication skills in English
