&lt;p&gt;The Development Manager works hand in hand with the Head of Development leading a number of teams of software engineers, designing, developing and testing different areas of the state-of-the-art gaming platform. You&#039;d be responsible for the overall development lifecycle of our platforms and solutions, delivering to our customers a cutting-edge experience with unique features in our sector. Additionally, the role requires hiring, developing, and helping engineers and team leads to meet and exceed their career goals.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Managing a number of cross-functional teams in the Development department, scaling teams according to business needs.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Providing technical leadership, direction and mentoring for multi-disciplined software-focused teams.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Performing line management duties, including recruitment, reviews, 1-1 meetings, motivating, conflict resolution and performance management.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Working collaboratively with other Heads and Leads to draw out the big picture architectural vision of the product, and help driving tech initiatives.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Managing the technical debt and growing codebase so we continuously improve quality and performance, creating and maintaining metrics, KPIs and OKRs.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Leading functional design reviews and provide continuous feedback to the team.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Cooperating with multiple teams and close the gap between stakeholders and developers, being able to look at a problem and come up with practical solutions.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Guiding our passionate developers through coaching and mentoring, and continuously find new opportunities to teach the team.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Leading design discussions, retrospectives, and empowering teams to find solutions to complex engineering challenges.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Confronting outstanding challenges even when it comes to supporting legacy systems.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Reporting on the team&#039;s productivity and constantly strive for self and team improvement.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Coordinating design and code reviews within the team to ensure that code meets our quality standards.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Leading by example and ensure that all the department policies, processes and guidelines are followed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Managing resolutions, and escalation paths for live production incidents&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Taking large, complex projects and break them down into manageable tasks, develop functional specifications, then work with the development leads to deliver them in a successful and timely manner&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Instilling best practices for software development and deliver high-quality products on tight schedules.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Experienced in the gaming industry and working with remote teams&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Bachelor’s (preferred Master’s degree) in computer science or a related discipline&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong leadership experience having led software development teams&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Demonstrable experience in project management having managed multiple parallel projects within tight timeframes&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience in establishing automated testing and CI&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Solid understanding of the development and QA processes including DevOps practices&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Demonstrable background in software development architecture, where PHP is considered as an asset&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to multi-task and rapidly switch contexts, motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to take initiative, while aware of the accountability and leadership responsibility that comes with it&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Act as an approachable person with strong communication and interpersonal skills&lt;/li&gt;
