Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and passengers to designated locations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a high standard of driving practices.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel use, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, representing the company positively during interactions with clients and the public.
- Assist in navigating routes and adapting to changing conditions, ensuring timely deliveries.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Clean driving license Category D with a clean driving record
- Fluent in the English language; the Maltese language is a plus.
- Know how to use apps and mobile such as WhatsApp
- Patience to drive school children and old people with wheelchairs.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. - Basic mechanical knowledge to identify vehicle issues and perform minor repairs. - Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service. - Willingness to work flexible hours
