Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to various locations across Malta.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure that vehicles are in safe working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to maintain road safety.
- Load and unload cylinders, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or delivering goods.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid driver's C or C1 license with a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Handling of Cylinders - Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous driving experience is an advantage but not mandatory; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
