About This Job
We are looking for Mechanical and Electrical Technicians at all levels, from junior to experienced professionals, to join a technical and maintenance team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
- Perform repairs, replacements and adjustments of equipment and components.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of machinery and technical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential technical issues.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and electrical/mechanical diagrams.
- Ensure machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow company health & safety procedures and technical standards.
- Work closely with engineers, maintenance teams and other departments.
- Carry out additional technical duties as required.
Requirements
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial environment is advantageous.
- Junior candidates with relevant technical education or practical training are also encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Ability to use relevant tools and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
