About This Job

We are looking for Mechanical and Electrical Technicians at all levels, from junior to experienced professionals, to join a technical and maintenance team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Perform repairs, replacements and adjustments of equipment and components.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of machinery and technical systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and identify potential technical issues.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and electrical/mechanical diagrams.
  • Ensure machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Follow company health & safety procedures and technical standards.
  • Work closely with engineers, maintenance teams and other departments.
  • Carry out additional technical duties as required.

Requirements

  • Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial environment is advantageous.
  • Junior candidates with relevant technical education or practical training are also encouraged to apply.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Ability to use relevant tools and testing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
