Supervise the Finance Manager, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly management accounts and ad-hoc reports.\n\t
Oversee daily treasury operations, executing transactions and maintaining visibility of group liquidity.\n\t
Manage the annual audit process, ensuring adherence to all regulatory filing deadlines.\n\t
Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.\n\t
Prepare and present detailed management accounts, performance analysis, and FP&A reports to the CEO and at quarterly board meetings.\n\t
Coordinate the preparation of consolidated accounts for group entities.\n\t
Ensure a robust internal control environment and proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.\n\t
Recommend and implement cost rationalisation strategies across the group.\n\t
Lead the budgeting process, with regular variance analysis and actionable reporting.\n\t
Maintain updated cash flow forecasts, supporting capital allocation and investment decisions.\n\t
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, vendors, and service providers.\n\t
Implement enhanced management reporting tools to provide executives with meaningful insights into financial and operational performance.\n\t
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, contributing to financial strategy, policy, and decision-making.\n
\n \nRequirements:\n\n
\n\t
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (a Maltese warrant is not required).\n\t
Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in a commercial finance or audit environment.\n\t
Prior experience in a listed company or within the investment management industry is highly desirable.\n\t
Strong working knowledge of IFRS, Maltese VAT, and income tax, with experience preparing accounts and regulatory filings to a listed standard.\n\t
Proficiency in financial reporting systems and accounting software.\n\t
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and high accuracy.\n\t
Outstanding communication skills, capable of delivering complex financial information to executive stakeholders.\n\t
Ability to manage relationships with external vendors and negotiate terms effectively.\n\t
A strong commercial mindset and strategic approach to finance.\n\t
Familiarity or interest in Bitcoin and digital assets is considered a strong advantage.\n\t
Must be a native English speaker.\n\t
Basic knowledge of Maltese company law and reporting requirements with the Malta Business Registry.\n\t
International experience is an asset but not a requirement.\n
