Finance Manager

Allied Group is a leading media company in Malta, dedicated to delivering trusted news, entertainment, and advertising solutions across multiple platforms.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to assist the Group’s financial controller and to contribute to the growth of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Management Accounts and other monthly reports for Group Head of Finance
• Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and optimize financial performance through cost control and revenue generation strategies.
• Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
• Internal control projects
• Navision and Business Central data maintenance and Navision training

Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the media or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in Malta.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
