Burmarrad Group is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of management accounts and other reports and presentation of the same to the Board of Directors
  • Review and interpretation of complex data
  • Preparation of financial forecasts/budgets
  • Analysis of performance against budgets and against prior years
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly departmental contribution reports for the group
  • Cost analysis and control
  • Monitoring the finance team’s tasks, ensuring reporting is timely
  • Understanding of processes and procedures to improve performance
  • IT and Control Systems’ updating for continuous improvement
  • Liaising with external auditors to ensure the smooth running of the group companies’ audits
  • Monitoring of E.U / National Grants that the group may benefit from
  • Maintaining updated KYC documentation for the group’s advisors, bankers, service providers
  • Preparation and submission of the group’s VAT returns
  • Assistance with the ongoing KYC and bank forms
  • Filling of NSO questionnaires and statistics
  • Contribute towards the talent development of other team members within the finance team, be willing to take on a hands-on approach and assist them as, and when required, hence promoting teamwork
  • Other general duties that may be required by the Directors and the CFO.

Requirements:

  • ACCA or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Team player
  • Ready to roll-up their sleeves and assist lower-level staff as required, mentoring and teaching them
  • Keeping with set deadlines
  • Show initiative
  • Organisational skills
