Role Overview Joining as a Financial Controller, you'll play a vital role in the Finance Team, reporting directly to the CFO. Responsibilities include preparing management statements, leading budget preparations, managing cash flows, and liaising with auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management statements for financial performance review.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead annual budget and regular forecast preparations.
Financial Administration: Handle cash flows, VAT returns, and financial information for projects.
Audit Preparation: Act as the main contact for external auditors, ensuring prompt and accurate audits.
Debtor Monitoring: Monitor debtors, manage credit control, and provide timely reports to senior management.
Team Leadership: Motivate and lead finance team members, providing daily support and guidance.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Software Proficiency: Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience: Proven work experience in a similar Financial Controller position.
Professional Qualification: ACCA qualification or equivalent.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
Organisational Skills: Good organisational abilities and the capability to multitask effectively.
Problem-solving Ability: Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
