About This Job
As a Food & Beverage Attendant in our new Entertainment Centre, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our guests while assisting with various food and beverage operations You will provide friendly and efficient service, handle transactions, upsell menu items, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Assist the barista with preparing and serving all beverages.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments, providing change, and reconciling cash drawers.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food and beverage products.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to guests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning down dining areas.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including uniform standards and grooming guidelines.
- Continuously strive to exceed guest expectations and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a restaurant or diner setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
