&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Role Duties and Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The selected candidate will be the team leader in aiding the company in technological transformation and achieving its business targets.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The role involves participating in the entire software development cycle, designing, developing, and maintaining applications as well as creating interfaces between systems. It covers generating reports and implementing BI tools including the rollout and administration of externally developed solutions.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Job Description&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This role will include, but is not limited to, the following:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Participating in the entire software development cycle&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Designing, developing, and maintaining applications and reports&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Assisting with code review and SQL query tuning&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Creating and maintaining interfaces between systems&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Assisting in the rollout and administration of internally developed solutions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Job Requirements&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The candidate should be in possession of:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Bachelor’s degree or a Higher National Diploma in IT, Software Development in computer science or a related information technology field.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Experience with database programming languages such as SQL.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Experience in administering, managing and tuning databases.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Good understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.&lt;/p&gt;
