About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on General Handyman to join our team at a food manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the company’s facilities, ensuring that the workplace remains safe, clean, and in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance around the factory, offices, and common areas.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and building maintenance tasks.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
- Identify and report maintenance issues or potential safety hazards.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organised.
- Assist with routine preventative maintenance.
- Support the maintenance team with other duties as required.
- Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and food-safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance, or similar role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Good attention to detail.
- Previous work experience is considered an asset.
