As our Kitchen porter you'll be the unsung hero behind the scenes, keeping things sparkling clean and running smoothly!
Responsibilities:
- Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and surfaces according to health and safety standards.
- Organize and upkeep the dishwashing area, including storage and waste disposal.
- Aid in floor maintenance and public area cleanliness alongside the General Hand.
- Assist kitchen staff during busy periods by replenishing supplies and clearing workspace.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.

- Follow procedures for food handling, storage, and rotation to ensure quality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications:
- Preferred: Previous kitchen or similar experience.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as required.
