We are looking for a Full Time TUTOR with a background on Occupational Therapy or related.
Being a tutor at Embrace Diversity is being a leader. We are looking for a proactive and caring professional that would like to jump in the amazing work of helping to turn disability into ability!
With the only aim of providing tools, time and love for our users to reach independence in life and grow in a safe and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
- MQF Level 6 in fields related to Occupational Therapy.
- Experience 2+ years
- English B2
- Proactive and works in own initiative
- Enjoy working with children
- Having a valid work permit in Malta
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute lessons to one-to-one and group classes of children and youths with disabilities adapting to their needs and goals
- Give comprehensive feedback to parents, schools, therapists, and others
- Use all communication aids and devices of the users during the sessions
- Assist in all basic needs of the service users
- Participate in meetings, trainings and fundraising activities
- Work with the team of professionals in order to achieve service user’s goals
