Key Responsibilities

Management Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts for all group entities to support performance tracking.
\n\t
Budgeting & Forecasting: Take the lead in the annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecasts in partnership with the CFO.
\n\t
Cash Flow and VAT Compliance: Prepare regular cash flow reports and oversee VAT return submissions in line with regulatory requirements.
\n\t
Strategic Financial Leadership: Guide the dividend process and conduct in-depth financial analyses to support data-driven strategic decisions.
\n\t
Capital Management and Investment Analysis: Build robust financial models, assess investment opportunities, and manage liquidity to maximise capital efficiency and mitigate financial risk.
\n\t
Strategic Initiatives and Reporting: Deliver financial presentations and insights for executive stakeholders and support mergers and acquisitions or other corporate strategies with detailed financial due diligence.
\n\t
Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure full compliance with internal policies and financial regulations, and work across departments to streamline financial processes and controls.

Team Leadership: Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a high-performing culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline. MBA or CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
\n\t
Experience: At least 5 years in corporate finance, financial analysis, or investment banking, with proven experience in strategic financial planning and modelling.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Able to present financial insights clearly and convincingly to senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across all levels.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Builds strong professional relationships and demonstrates leadership and influence across teams.
