Role Overview \nHeroix is seeking a seasoned Group Head of Finance to lead and develop its Client's finance function. Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Finance will oversee financial planning, reporting, budgeting, risk management, and team leadership. This is a high-profile role requiring a hands-on leader with experience in fast-paced gaming environments and a passion for driving commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
\n\n
\n\t
Financial Planning and Forecasting: Design and implement robust forecasting and budgeting processes, including quarterly forecasts, annual budgets focusing on P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, and long-term strategic planning.
\n\t
Reporting and Analysis: Enhance monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs covering financial statements, KPIs, and variance analyses, and deliver actionable insights to senior management.
\n\t
Process Optimisation: Drive automation and system improvements across group finance processes, reducing manual workload and increasing efficiency.
\n\t
Risk Management: Support the CFO in conducting annual risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate key financial and operational risks.
\n\t
Corporate Finance Support: Contribute to modelling and preparation for potential transactions, including company valuations, data room management, and due diligence support.
\n\t
Treasury and Banking: Manage banking relationships, payment service providers, and treasury operations to support the Company’s growth in existing and new markets.
\n\t
Business Partnering: Foster a collaborative culture within the finance team, empowering team members to act as strategic partners to internal stakeholders.
\n\t
Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
\n\t
Strategic Projects: Assist the CFO and executive leadership with ad hoc financial and operational projects as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Qualified Accountant with a recognised accounting designation.
\n\t
Experience: Minimum of eight years in finance roles within the gaming sector, including several years in leadership positions.
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role.
\n\t
Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise reports and presentations tailored to different audiences.
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Confident in building relationships across functions and influencing at all levels of the business.
\n\t
Technical Skills: Proficient with IFRS, accounting software such as Xero, and advanced MS Excel capabilities.
\n\t
Organisation: Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills to manage competing deadlines effectively.
\n\t
Self-Motivated: Proactive and resourceful, demonstrating ownership and commitment to driving the Company’s success.

Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying financial and operational issues and proposing solutions to optimise performance.
