Submitting periodic reports to the FIAU and MFSA.\n\t
Offering guidance and support to Compliance Officers across Group entities.\n\t
Coordinating all financial crime compliance matters within the Group, including AML/CFT, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption measures.\n\t
Assessing financial crime risks at both the Group and individual entity levels.\n\t
Conducting de-risking exercises based on risk assessment findings.\n\t
Monitoring internal processes to ensure procedures are effectively implemented and followed.\n\t
Periodically reviewing the level of due diligence within the Group and entities, including performing spot checks.\n\t
Drafting and maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures.\n\t
Establishing systems for regular communication and sharing of updates across the Group.\n\t
Managing projects related to the implementation of compliance software and data migration.\n\t
Developing and delivering training programs to keep client-facing employees informed about AML/CFT developments.\n\t
Acting as a point of contact to ensure all entities within the Group comply with AML/CFT regulations and other relevant laws.\n\t
Providing customer risk information to Directors to support decisions on client onboarding and offboarding.\n\t
Staying current with trends and typologies in financial crime matters.\n

Requirements:

\n\t
A university degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.\n\t
At least 5 years of experience in an AML/CFT role. 2 of those years in a managerial position.\n\t
In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT laws, regulations, and guidelines.\n\t
Strong written and verbal communication skills.\n\t
Expertise in identifying compliance gaps and implementing corrective measures.\n\t
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and maintain high compliance standards across the Group.\n\t
A strong sense of integrity and accountability in ensuring adherence to AML/CFT regulations.\n\t
Ability to stay up to date with changing regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and proactively address compliance needs.\n
