Role Overview \nHeroix is proud to be partnering with a prominent organisation in the financial sector to appoint a strategic and experienced Head of HR & Culture. This senior role will lead the HR function across the group, driving critical initiatives such as international expansion, workforce development, compliance, and cultural transformation. Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership: Direct and evolve the HR strategy to support the company's global expansion and long-term objectives, working closely with executive leadership
\n\t
Remuneration Committee Participation: Serve as a key member of the remuneration committee, providing insight and direction on reward structures aligned with company goals
\n\t
HR Department Oversight: Manage all core HR functions including payroll, recruitment, training and development, employee relations, and performance management
\n\t
Talent Management and Engagement: Develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies that align with the organisation’s workforce plans across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons
\n\t
Compensation and Benefits: Design and implement cost-effective, competitive compensation and benefit programmes tailored to business needs and market trends
\n\t
HR Advisory: Provide expert guidance to managers at all levels on HR-related matters including grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions, and legal compliance
\n\t
Research and Compliance: Conduct ongoing research on regulatory trends and market best practices while ensuring adherence to legal and compliance requirements
\n\t
Budget Management: Manage the HR budget collaboratively with Finance and department heads, ensuring responsible resource allocation
\n\t
Executive Reporting: Provide regular HR updates and analysis to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors
\n\t
Project Leadership: Oversee specific HR initiatives in collaboration with the Co-CEO and senior management, ensuring timely and effective execution

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
\n\t
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar HR leadership role, preferably within financial services or fintech
\n\t
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset
\n\t
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, able to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse stakeholders
\n\t
Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building capabilities with a passion for people development and culture building
\n\t
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of employment law and HR systems; experience handling complex legal or compliance-related HR matters
\n\t
Organisation: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate with a high level of precision in a dynamic setting
\n\t
Self-Motivated: Results-driven with the ability to work independently and initiate improvements proactively
