Role Overview The Head of Sales & Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving the Company's sales and marketing strategies, aiming to boost revenue, enhance brand presence, and increase market share. This leadership position involves overseeing the entire sales and marketing function, developing and implementing strategies that align with the Company's goals, and mentoring a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies: Lead the creation and execution of strategies to meet company business objectives, ensuring they are in line with the overall goals. Support the Restaurant Managers in Business Development.
Revenue and budget management: Define revenue targets, sales forecasts, and manage the marketing budget to drive growth.
Market opportunity exploration: Identify new growth areas and opportunities for market expansion.
Brand and stakeholder management: Foster strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders while maintaining brand consistency across all marketing efforts.
Market research and competitor analysis: Stay abreast of market trends and competitor strategies to adapt and optimise the Company's sales and marketing approach.
Pricing and policy development: Support the creation of pricing strategies and sales policies to ensure market competitiveness.
Marketing plan execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy across digital, content, and traditional channels to enhance brand awareness.
Performance analysis: Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, refining strategies based on performance metrics to maximise return on investment.
Innovation and collaboration: Cultivate a culture of innovation and performance while working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
Regular performance reviews: Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ad hoc duties: Assist in implementing changes and initiatives to support the CEO and the broader business strategy.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Experience: Proven track record in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, with experience in a leadership role.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English; proficiency in Maltese would be an asset.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Skills: Expertise in digital marketing, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems, etc.).
Organisation: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
